Hand-braided, this Penjy braid keeps an authentic plant texture while offering excellent hold over time. Its structure boosts its tensile strength, making it particularly suited to making and restoring chairs, stools and braided seats, but also to structured basketry and decorative finishes—tiebacks, bag handles.

A supple, strong braid

Once lightly dampened, the fibre gains malleability, easing precise, tight braiding; after drying, it keeps its tension for a stable, durable seat. Store the braid away from moisture and direct sunlight, and dust it with a soft cloth.
