Buff Willow, for which work?

Prized for its honey golden-brown colour, these willow rods, offered in various lengths (80 to 225 cm), are the material of artisanal basketry. They are chosen to make baskets and trays, to build or restore armchairs, and for creative hobbies such as personalised decorative projects.

Working willow

Willow is worked after soaking, which restores the flexibility needed for weaving without breaking. Woven damp, it shrinks slightly as it dries for a tight piece. Store the bundles dry, away from moisture.
