A variety known for its fine amber shade, the Alba Vitelina offers even rods valued in basketry. Like all our raw willow, it comes from young willow shoots grown in Europe and is aimed at artisanal basketry: making baskets and trays, building or restoring armchairs, creative hobbies and decorative projects.

Working raw willow

Willow is worked after soaking, which restores the flexibility needed for weaving without breaking; woven damp, it tightens as it dries for a taut piece. Store the bundles dry, away from moisture.
