Loonty Koboo rattan, for which uses?

Offered in several diameters, Loonty Koboo is appreciated for its suppleness, the consistency of its fibre and its mechanical strength. Its visible nodes give it an authentic, decorative look. It is used in caning, basketry, for woven objects and technical baskets (fishing, hot-air-balloon gondolas), as well as outdoor fit-out—facades, terraces, screens—and decorative furniture.

A washed and sulphured fibre

The cane is washed then sulphured to even out its shade and prevent mould, which makes it particularly suited to outdoor uses. Easy to work and weave, it is cleaned with a soft cloth; avoid excess moisture and standing water to preserve the fibre.
